The secretary for the surgeon gave me the site when I scheduled with

them for the 3rd. It does look impressive but I couldn't get many

of the sections to open. I met the faculty though, that was

lovely,,*** thank you for thinking of me Fliss.

I wish there was some way that they could get a better feel for the

cancer. A more difinative diagnosis. If I recall, you said they

dont do check ups for markers and such. Have you ever had a MRCP?

I think my doc was a little surprised at how it took over the whole

panc in 6 months. Must not be something that they see often. I

collasped at work on a friday afternoon, mrcp on saturday, ercp

tuesday, peg on thursday, discharged saturday with instructions to

contact Cincy. I guess the mrcp must have given quite an

impression.

You do still have a choice Fliss, you are still the only one who

knows you. Jim may think he does..but. You know your body and your

heart and you can choose when your ready. You will believe in your

heart that your are doing the right thing. I beleive in my heart,

at this point, I am doing what is necessary to stay alive.

To get my life back, that absolutely right.

You dont need your tp right away but when you do your going to know

everything there is about, you will have faith in the doctor who has

cared so well for you, your mind and body will be ready. You will

thrive.

I am starting to stress on this some and having my pain increase

doesn't help matters. I going to travel 800 miles to have major

surgery, where there is nobody I know. I will be alone. Its

sinking in.

Your sons sound delightful and charming.

Chrissy,

if you could give us an address where people could send cards to you

after your surgery, I'm sure a number of us would like to send cards.
