Welcome Lori,

Most here transitioned successfully from the GFCF diet and they arrived

with many fears about foods they thought would be mandatory. Nuts,

dairy and eggs are not although the nuts provide us with both healthy

fats and the basis for excellent baked goods.

Ypou may find some of your child's intolerance change as healing takes

place. SCD is certainly worth a one month trial but you will probably

see some negatives during that time because of a condition we call " die

off " where bad bacteria put up a protest when their food supply gets

cut.

Welcome Lori,

I have learned so much from this group. This is the best place for support. I

was really nervous about starting SCD for my son. We started in January with

yeast problems. We have been on the diet 100% and we now show no signs of yeast.

Best of Luck,
