Guest guest
Lets Look Forward Together; That is such a wonderful title for a book or article on dealing with a chronic condition. I am sure such a title would have meaning to every person on earth at some point or another. I'll have to give that some thought, wrting, I hate to imagine some of the gobbelty gook thats can spue from my demerol soked brain. I'll give it some thought. I always keep saying silver linings abound, thats my line, thats how I try to focus on the positive side. Like i told Jean if I dont search for my silver linings at every turn I'm afraid the storm clouds will swallow me whole. Sometimes they do but you know what happens to things that are swallowed ...right? I can live with that. The cake was from Alison's 18th birthday yesterday. We had a lovely weedend and I gave her a lap top as a gift; perfect for college. I am a fabulous cook but a lousy baker, but I keep plugging away, and I hit a winner this time, the cake came out very well. I had such a bad episode last wednesday with the doc and the meds and having a spell in public, first time driving and all that mess, that I decided to see my pcp for my pain meds. I made an appt with her tommorow, she is much closer to my home with easier parking and access, closer to the pharmacist. I hope she wont have a problem with it then I will let know. If not, I will have to do the long drive into the city and all that stress. I think the closer to home the better considering how often I need them. The less complicated the better. I like that; lets look forward together. Female bonds are close bonds, even if you never lay an eye on one and other.
