Hi we are scd 2nd time around & wondering how people know the

difference between a food rxn or die off. I introduce knew foods one

at a time & wait & see but my sons behaviour is so up & down I can't

tell if it's this or that. I withdraw the food but see no change. At

the moment he eats eggs, meats, zucchini & pear & sometimes carrots-

these are all cooked well & peeled. We are day 8 now & still his

behaviour is so agitated, anxious, etc when do you think I should

start to see some improvement. When we did scd the first time we

saw a complete change in my son into a focused, calmer child - still

autistic but much better, & I was sure this was in the first 2 days

I don't remember it going on so long. Worried I am doing something

wrong- no meds ( legal ones) seem to make any difference & charcoal

seems effective some times but not others. I don't know if I just

need to accept this as my sons behaviour that is not going to change

or if I keep on going on. Sometimes I am so tired of trying to find

the answer to make all our lives better but on the otherhand I can't

give up, especially as I have seen him so much better that this

before. HIS STOOLS ARE SEMI-FORMED but are foul smelling as is his

breath, but I am unsure if it's too much protein or the die off

doing this. Also what are the signs of an adverse rxn to too much

protein in the diet & can this affect a childs behaviour.

Thanks to all

Alison,

Are you still doing the homeopathic detox?
