Guest guest
What a dear aunt you are. Many thanks to you for all your doing. By the way, YES, Most NEED a letter to authorize the donation. You will have to have them very much aware of it . You could also make a small " track' to hand about with the definition of Cystic fibrosis . Almost any literature on CF has that blurb in it .Sometimes that is all they have . Make sure to get their names & address whenever possible , you then will be starting your mailing list for future events AND.your thank your notes for after they donate. I don't mean for the pass the hat & coin jar donations ....that would just be too much. BUT for other larger gifts. Best wishes for all your doing. LOVE & HUGS, grandmomBEV Fundraiser Ideas Thanks to all the Post for Ideas On Fundraisers..Although,My Husband is not Into Hunting; It still gave me Great ideas for Upcoming events and Plans that I am Making to Start my Own Cf walk... Last year when we Decided to Join the annual Cf walk In Tacoma,Wa for my Nephew,I did a Letter Campaign. I sent about 50-80 Letters Out to Family, friends And received about $250.00 ,Which was not really that bad for my first try....I plan to try something Different this next year and Pray that I can get everything In order to do so within the next few Months...Thank you also for the Idea to ask Local companies for Raffle donations.I have not gave that thought before...My question is 'Should I also write a Letter and tell them what It is for and Who I am Doing this for also?' I am very Blessed to have been Lead to this Group.I am Just an Aunt of a Lil Boy with Cf But,For me this is the best thing.I want to learn More about This Disease and what I can do to help others that have it....Not Just with Cf But many other Diseases also...People need to be aware of these.....If I have to Stand On my rooftop and yell it Out,I will..... I am also Planning on making Posters and passing them out around town to sorta' make An Intro Into the Cf Walk and National Cystic Fibrosis Awareness Week......Maybe this will also help. Please Keep Xavier In your prayers and his Parents....)
