I had to move out last year when they were going around our house remember. Oh maybe you were not with the group yet then. I never got them but the Dr. was very concerned about me getting them and didn't want me to take any chances. Sending good thoughts and prayers your way. Lots of Love Glenda Just got a call fromthe boy's mom to tell me that he broke out withchicken pox last night--after being here all evening. I have already had shingles once, I'm due to start myRemicade tomorrow, help! Should I be concerned? Doesanyone know how at risk I am? Appreciate yourinsights! However, Remicade does nothing to increase that risk, so I am going to get infused this morning. I DON'T WANT SHINGLES! No, I waan't a member yet when you had your chicken pox scare. Dr. was just afraid I would get the shingles and wanted me away from home so I wasn't exposed to the pox which cause the shingles. He said it would not be easy on me with the Imuran which causes the surpressed immune system. I didn't get them that was the main thing but hated being away from home for so long. I was away from home for almost a month before they were through going through my house. Watch for all the signs and get to the Dr. fast if you see them. I will be sending good thoughts and prayers your way. That is all you need one more thing to worry about. I was put on Acyclovir when I had them and it helped greatly. If I remember right, you need to get on that at the first sign of shingles. I'm just hoping that I don't get them at all.
