Guest guest
Sorry you were offended by the remarks made by Poncho.....But I will tell you this, I have been dealing with chronic pancreatitis since 1987 and the ability to laugh is a very important one. Even though Poncho made a little light of the subject he is quite correct. I take a NOW brand of antioxidants Caps. It has all the antioxidants that you need. You can find it at your local health food store. Also on the top5plus5 site if you type in antioxidants, there is some good info that can be found that. Omega 3's are great for you brain. You can get them in Oily fish such as Salmon and Tuna. I laugh at myself at least 3 or 4 times a day, even through tough times. If not I would lose my mind. Laughing is good for the soul. If I can ever do anything to help you, please let me know. Poncho is a good man with a great heart, I am sure he meant no disrespect in regards to you. I hope this finds you and yours well Mark Re: Neurological Complications due to Pancreatitis > > > > > > 1 > > >
Guest guest
I'm not sure of your name but I to have had a problem with my memory. I don't know if it is caused by the pain meds or not but I have found that if I'm afraid I will forget something important, I write it down on a post-it or calendar. When I was first diagnosed with CP I thought my life was over. I would sit and feel sorry for myself and ask why me? Finally I found this group and they have been wonderful. I accept my disease and the symptoms and just deal with it on a day to day basis. My life has been alot better that way. If I have a day without getting sick or pain (which is very few) I am elated that I had a Great Day. If I feel bad I get online and post whatever is on my mind or if I'm mad at the world then I get online to vent my anger. That is what we are here for...To help each other. Believe me it will make you feel better. I guess what I am trying to say is that we are here for you so feel free to express your feeling...
