Guest guest
First, I have smoked for about 20 years. I have been taking Zyban and cutting back (from 1 1/2 packs/day to less that 1/4 pack per day, except on weekends, when it would go back up to 1 pack!), but have been unable to quit. I have also been a very heavy coffee drinker for close to 30 years. I couldn't even take a shower until I'd drank a pot of coffee to wake up--I would have drowned in the shower! I'm proud to tell everyone that, since my surgery last Friday, 8/4, I have had absolutely NO desire to smoke! I even sit outside with my hubby while he smokes and still don't want it. For some reason, I do seem to want to test that, and I've lit a cigarette 5 or 6 times--but end up throwing it away. I simply do not want it anymore! The day I got home from the hospital (Saturday), I got myself a cup of coffee. (Those meannies at the hospital won't let you have any!) One mouthful--and I spit it out! It was horrible! I haven't had coffee since. Now my problem is--what do I do to wake up in the mornings??????
