Get two machines!! The machines are not expensive, its the strips that are, however it is well worth the cost in order to avoid many nasty complications. Keep one upstairs and one down, so you have no excuse not to check! I do it about two hours after have eaten; that gives me an idea of how my body is coping and if I am taking the right amount of meds. I take Glucophage 3 x day, and occasional small amounts of Glyburide (eg quarter of a 2.5mgtablet) > I am rooting for you to feel better! Guest guest
Susiecu, That's interesting about the snoring, because I've never snored in my life, until the second day of my flare with RP in December, and now I snore every night! I did have a baseline PFT, and don't show damage, just slight airway obstruction, which is probably all of the weight that I've gained on the Pred (18 pounds ) Anyone else have this experience? michelle
