that is so weird that you did that detroit tiger theme.. I just ordered some decals off line that is the detroit logo set...it is made for the little baseball players that want to decorate their baseball/batters helmet for little league...in fact anyone out their that wants to do a basballl theme this website has every team available...Are you from Detroit? your son is adorable...my oldest had red hair when he was little up until around 4 years old and then it started turning brown/blond...my little one has reddish hair.... I love it....Jake is so cute..... thanks for the tips... mom to , Christian & Chase w/plagio <nwilkens2275@...> wrote: I think that as long as it's a custom made band from Danmar, and the ortho is experienced, you should be fine. It's the off the shelf Danmar helmets that I've heard horror stories about. Sorry if I confused you. I paint, then sticker, then mod podge. When I want to change it, I just peel the whole thing, stickers, paint and all, off in big pieces. I did once remove a sticker once it was mod podged and reused it (my original paint job was terrible and I had to redo it, but I couldn't get another sticker - it was a Detroit Tigers D for a baseball helmet), but I had to be very careful and I only had like 2 layers of mod podge on it. Not sure I would have been able to do it with more. But

generally, once I'm ready to change it, I just scrap the whole paint job and start fresh with all new paint, stickers and mod podge. There are some pics of my son's paint jobs under Jake W. in the plagio/J folder. I have a couple more designs I still need to add to it.Jake-20m (tort resolved/rt plagio/DOCBand 15 weeks)Jordan-4> >> > Hello, > > > > I just discovered this board.. We don't know where our kids get the red hair...my middle boy has brown hair but our oldest had it & our youngest has it???? . Too funny....I just posted a pic of Chase and we have only had it for a day...so just for fun I put "go wings" on the front (look under the "c" file for Chase .). My hubby and I just went to the wings/penguins game on Saturday...so we are red wings fans ..I will hold off on decorating the helmet until the cup finals are over....The detroit tigers decals you had sounds exactly like the ones I ordered ( i saw them on ebay too) they have'nt arrived yet...anyways good luck on your bet....I would love to see pics! <nwilkens2275@...> wrote: Thank you! I have red hair too, so I'm assuming/hoping that Jake's is for life!It sounds like we have the same stickers! (but I got mine from ebay). It came with a sheet of numbers and also an MLB sticker to make a batting helmet (I'll post more pics soon). My hubby was born in Ann Arbor and lived there until he was 8, but is still a diehard Detroit sports fan. I'm from Pittsburgh (did you see his Steelers helmet?), so I gave in to the Detroit Tigers (I draw the line with the Lions), but right now it's decorated for the Pittsburgh Penguins. I was going to do a split helmet, half Penguins and half Red Wings, and put "mommy's team" and "daddy's team" on it for

the Stanley Cup Final (which I think would have been SO cool), but the darn Red Wings decals didn't arrive until just today, and I didn't want to wait any longer (it's already game 3 and he's getting a new helmet on Monday), so it's just Penguins for now. If we lose, part of my bet with my husband is that I'll paint Jake's new band all Red Wings, but I'm hoping that doesn't happen! (woo hoo, we won tonight!)I'm so glad the Pistons don't wear helmets!
