Matrilin-1...................

Thanks, Arto and , for these posts. I've just researched matrilin-1

on the web and it seems to be the identified protein in tracheal cartilage

that causes inappropriate immune response. Looks like the scientists have

already induced these rats with matrilin-1 and now they've got RP. I do

hope your doctor/contact at Stanford is indeed working on this in

conjunction with Dr. Buckner's research. I'm excited. I've also been told

that I might be related to a rat (Uncle somebody LOL), so I'd love to be

part of the research.
