Guest guest
, Stop kicking yourself! I know how you feel because I backed out at clinic 2 days before surgery. Don't regret the decisions you have made along the way. Just be very certain you want the surgery. You actually made it through the toughest part, all the way to the holding area. Be grateful Dr. R will do the surgery and move on. My surgery was 3 1/2 months later and I'm doing GREAT! The second time around my feet were more firmly on the ground, I was less excited, more nervous and just more ready. It's a major surgery to go through. I'd be glad to be a contact. E-mail me at home: beachwalkers @ home. com. Guest guest
I know what you mean about freaking out in holding because I nearly got up and ran away. I just couldn't stop thinking about waking up altered and that I hadn't really tried EVERY diet, had I? I finally turned to one of the anethesia people and told them to put me out. They put some medication in my IV and I woke up feeling like someone had punched me in the stomach. I didn't move myself onto the table or anything. The thought of losing control and trusting someone else was too much for me. I am thankful that they put me to sleep because otherwise I couldn't have gone on much longer. For you pre ops, please remember to ask to be sedated if you start freaking out. Trudy. p.s. I should have a 1 month report in about 1 week. --- Bernardine wrote: > , > Stop kicking yourself!
