Peanuts still in shell in restaurant

My husband and I went to a steak restaurant that serves peanuts (still

in the shell) in lieu of chips/bread at the beginning of the meal, and

we were thinking this might be the ONE thing our child on SCD could

eat in a restaurant (provided by the restaurant, not brought from

home). Is there any problem with having this? (I'll wipe off the

shells just in case there's contamination with other foods, regular

table salt, etc.)

Thanks,

Angie
