Guest guest
Thanks Lina! So, they used a starscanner to scan his head. He has a 12mm difference for his plagio and a Cepahlic ratio of 84%. There are a ton of other #s on here...any others that are important? Anyways, he said his plagio is pretty bad, but he still wants to wait 2 months before we would band. He is 4 months now and I thought the sooner the better, but he wants me to continue repositioning him and wait for his tort to get better. We also have to do an xray of his skull tomorrow... > > > My son is 4 months old and has torticollis and plagio. Guest guest
Huh, I'm kind of surprised with a difference of over 10mm for the plagio they are suggesting you wait a couple more months. There is time and you can most certainly get excellent results starting banding at 6 months, but repo will be increasingly difficult as your baby becomes more mobile. Waiting to resolve the tort may or may not happen in that amount of time. Depends on the severity and how agressive PT is.
