Guest guest
Jumping in here.....I took 1800 mg of neurontin for neuropathy for a time. Admittedly I get some strange reactions from meds, but this stuff caused some serious mental confusion. Forgetting how to drive to locations that I've known forever.....forgetting to turn on water while washing my hands. Scarey stuff! I was seeing a pain counselor at the time and she is the one who alerted me to this. When I looked it up, sure enough that was a listed side effect. Like I say, I'm strange where meds are concerned anyway. Hope this stuff helps you. Guest guest
Sharon, You are right, everyone has to be careful about side effects. I should have mentioned this also. My Mom couldn't take Neurontin for Diabetic Neuropathy, it made her mind too weird too. She was forgetting things, and she said she just didn't feel mentally right. She takes alot of other meds for kidneys, heart, etc. so I think everyone's combinations and reactions are different and have to be closely watched. As a matter of fact, something is making me talk backwards right now, I am actually speaking dyslexic (sp?), like saying the second word in front of the first word in a sentence. But I know the Neurontin has been helping me before that, so I don't think that's it. I actually think it's the Dapsone in combination with everything else. Thanks for jumping in Sharon. , I hope you read all this too. Hope your weekend is relaxing and enjoyable.
