Guest guest
I am new to this group and need help!! My son is 5 and has ASD. I have had him on a GFCF diet for 9 months and we have seen many improvements. However, I am sad to say his diet has become so limited with no signs of expanding that I feel like I need to try a different strategy. I like what I have read so far about SCD and would like to try it BUT- My son has intolerances to all veggies and fruits I have tried on GFCF. I have used No-Fenol, Phenol Assist and Phenol Assist Companion. They have proven to be unsuccessful in allowing me to expand his diet. Right now he eats primarily Chicken, Turkey-no other animal meats are tolerated and he refuses to eat fish. As well as rice and potatoes and quinoa in various forms. He can tolerate a few spices and garlic and onion. That is about it!! I want to try the diet but obviously this is going to be difficult with our current limitations. I have not yet read Elaine's book but I plan to get a copy of it. Any guideance would be appreciated! Mandy
