Guest guest
Well, I have yet to hear from the GI doctor, who called me after my appointment at Duke and said he wanted me to hold off on the ERCP. We booked our hotel room last night. We're going to stay at the Brookwood Inn, about one block from the main entrance of Duke. We were going to stay in Garner (on the other side of Raleigh), and my step-daughter offered up a place to stay too. But my sister-in-law said to stay by Duke since they're doing the procedure. That way if anything happens, they have my records and can contact Dr. Baillie, who will perform the ERCP. I think that makes sense, and the room is inexpensive ($69). I've been worrying myself to death that they won't find anything. I would sure hate to go through all this and then get a normal report. Something has to be going on in there. I am in severe pain, and it's not going away. This is the fourth week of the pain and nausea. Next month at work we're going to begin training on a new system for putting the paper together. I so wanted to be back at work for that. As much as I complain about work, I really miss it. I love the hourly deadlines, and the fast-pace world of putting the paper to bed. Oh well, patience is hard. Tammy
