Guest guest
Hi everybody - I appreciate everyone's support and all the information and encouragement. They did the ERCP yesterday, and I came home today. They did general anesthesia on me, and you don't have to worry about me waking up during the procedure - I was out for a LONG TIME.. They cut the Sphinkter (sp?) ring for the common bile duct. Apparently I was having lots of spasms. Everything else was clean. Looks like everything went well. Now get this - they want me to INCREASE my fat intake - they think I've been too restrictive. Well, I'm going to take that slow and see how things go. I'm pretty week and wobbly, but I'm doing ok. I don't walk very good yet, but that'll take time. We'll see how things go - and I hope these new diet introductions go well. I seem pretty free of pancreatitis pain right now, which is WONDERFUL! I'm really thankful. thanks to everybody for all your support. Rick Nickles
Guest guest
Dear Rick, I'm glad your ERCP went well without any difficulties afterward, and that they were able to remedy what needed to be done. Keep a positive attitude and give yourself time to heal well. Good luck with your new diet increase, just remember to take it very slowly, one day at a time, and with moderation. Have a receptive ear to what your body is telling you, and with adequate time, all should be well. With hope and prayers, Heidi Heidi H. Griffeth South Carolina SC & SE Regional Rep. PAI, Intl.
