Has anyone implemented SCD on a baby just starting > solids? , I missed this part of your post the first time around. My kiddo is 14 months old now so we're past the " just starting solids " phase, but we're kinda in a similar situation because has major sensory issues and therefore will only eat *very* pureed food. He won't even eat much of that. Even though he is 14 mths and huge (weighs almost 28 lbs), he only eats the equivalent of 3 to 4 jars of baby food on an average day, and even that requires a LOT of coaxing and creativity. Yeah most of that 28 lbs is from breastmilk, lol (the little piggy nurses like 8 times a day). It's been interesting doing SCD with him... I have to homecook and puree all of his food of course. Every night I puree a different food and store some of it in 4 oz containers in the freezer, so that we have a constant supply of a small variety of legal foods. While we were on the intro diet, I cooked up a 10 lb bag of chicken legs and we ate chicken soup for 5 days. His soup had to be pureed of course. I have to eat pretty much what he eats, so that complicates matters further. But it is doable. Although I must admit I'm reeeeal tired of chicken soup and carrots :-P mom to , 14 mths, ASD SCD 2 wks
