Guest guest
Hey everyone, Sorry I haven't been on much. I have just been lurking but things are so crazy around here round here I don't know if I am coming or going right now. In the last 2 months, I have lost 7 people and it has been hard. My grandmother, Aunt, one of my closest friends and my step grandmother are all gone now and I am still having a time dealing with it. I have talked to my doctor and she has put me on Prozac and though it has only been a week I have already noticed a small change but I am still going through a lot of stuff. I had an accident some years ago and the seat belt caught me across the breast. I had a lump there for a while but it went away. Well now the lump is back and it is getting bigger. Plus the fact that I haven't had a period in almost 11 months is not helping also. I am going for a mammogram Monday morning so all of you please keep me in your prayers. I have an appt. with the surgeon the same day so maybe all of it will work out for the best. One of the good things that has happened to me the last two months is on Feb. 6 I got to meet my Idol. I am a big fan of Jordan Knight and some close friends of mine got a hold of his road manager and arranged it where I could meet him. It was a dream come true for me and something I will never forget. It has helped me from time to time but wasn't enough to bring me out of the depression. My mom didn't want me on any time of pills but I had to finally give up. I just wanted to let all of you know what is going on. I spent a week in the hospital during 2-23 to 2-27 and was glad to have gotten out. IT was a flare up plus the fact that my meds never came and I ran out. I was only out a couple of hours though. Seems I had some type of infection anyway. As for the Carolina girls thread I would love to meet in ton and have someone to talk to about what we go through. Let me know what is going on with it. Let me go now since I am starting to fall asleep and the words are getting blurry. Love, --- Outgoing mail is certified Virus Free. Checked by AVG anti-virus system (http://www.grisoft.com). Guest guest
, I am so sorry that you have lost so many people that were close to you in such a short time. I wish there was something I could do to make you feel better. Seems we were both in the hospital at the same time for pancreas attack, though I was in for a little longer than you since I didn't get out until March 11. Unfortunately, we all go through depression with this disease and with the added loss of so many people, I'm not surprised you eventually needed to go on something for the depression. My mother is also on it and is finally doing better too. If you ever want to talk, email me anytime and I'll respond as quickly as I can, or if you see me on Yahoo IM, let me know (if I haven't given you my screen name alreadly, let me know and I'll send it to you).
