Guest guest
---Dr, Hawes said it would rest the Pancreas. I just e-mailed him a list of questions about options. Wish we lived closer so I could just make an appointment to see him in clinic before the block. But 3 hours is a long time to travel for a Dr's appt. Having trouble now finding some one to go with me for the block ! Best wishes for Cincy! Love, Cyndi Love is my maiden name and I was taught to love all people frm an early age ! Guest guest
Cyndi, Congrats on your 5.9% also. We both know how much work it takes to get those good scores. My earlier A1c was 5.5%, so I've actually slipped a little since summer, but I'm still happy with this score. I'm envious about your pump. When I was first diagnosed, my doctor said that I'd be an ideal patient for a pump, especially because of my brittleness. But now, after those two great A1c's, he's happy with that and when I asked him if I could get a pump he refused to refer me. Makes me mad! I know that if I stopped checking, sticking and injecting all the time like I do, that I'd quickly start getting the kind of scores that would have him insisting that I go on a pump. But I'm not ready to sacrifice my health just to go that route, so I'm going to have to figure out ssome other way to convince him that I would be a good candidate. Keep up the good work. I know you're trying to figure which came first, the chicken or the egg, but I don't have an answer for you on that one. I think perhaps that it was the CP that spawned from the diabetes....but I'm really not sure. With hope, prayers and love, Heidi Heidi H. Griffeth South Carolina SC & SE Regional Rep. PAI, Intl. Guest guest
Grand kids thats great. Who was it who said " grands are the reward for raising our kids " . I have a long time yet before I find out. I hope your feeling better today. I had it kinda rough. Pretty much stuck with clears and a few cans of formula last few days. What happened between you and ? He and I certainly have been going round and around. Warmly
