Guest guest
Rona, I am not sure we have spoken my name is Peg, I am Mom to Brandan who has suffered with PAINcreatitis as I call it, pretty much all his life. My son had the Total Pancreatectomy and Islet Cell Transplant on Aug, 12, 2002. For my son it was his second chance. " I'm desperate. I need some relief " THESE WORDS sent shivers up my spine for it was these same words along with " MOM I JUST WANT TO DIE, " that led me to find what I believe to be the only cure for my son. Brandan no longer endures the horrific attacks that he once did, and he is not diabetic. It has now been 18 months since Brandans surgery, and although he is not happy at times where he is(because its been such a long journey and he does still have what has come to be known as residual pain or nerve damage), we talk alot of where he was and how far he's come, BUT our focus remains on where we know he will be " ONEDAY. " Don't give-up its a hard journey, but your truly not alone. And I say for those who say your so young, they truly don't know what they are talking about for PAINCREATITIS does not discriminate, IT ATTACKS ANYONE AT ANY AGE! If I can be of help please let me know, As always keeping you and yours in our thoughts and prayers...Keep smiling (cuz sometimes its all one can do!)..TTFN..: ) Peg Bates Brwnbare9@...
