Guest guest
Thank you so much, you can't believe how excited I am, the only problem I am having is I can't get my PCP to order the blood work and the EKG he says " I have no medical reason to order it " which he is right I guess, but from what I understand I can have it done the morning of the surgery. I would love to keep in touch with you!! > >Reply-To: MiniGastricBypass (AT) egroups (DOT) com >To: MiniGastricBypass (AT) egroups (DOT) com >Subject: April >Date: Thu, 24 Aug 2000 10:51:41 -0400 (EDT) > >Hey Robin we're next door neighbors I'm in Oxford. Guest guest
Thank you so much for such a lovely compliment and with relish too. WOW. My doctor visit was pretty much to get another script; no results are in yet. I did ask him to check on the biopsies as those should be back. I wish you well with the new doc, I hate having to go over the whole riga-ma-roll (is that a word) again and again. I had my speech all ready when I went to Cincy and the first thing that doc said was " I dont think you have cp who told you that you did " . Well that just blew me away and my speech was gone leaving me a blabbering idiot. Well good luck tomorrow and dont forget, your a patient and a customer. I hope the new doctor will turn out like Heidi's new doc, then you would have a perfect doctor too. > Hi : > > I don't think I've ever posted a message to you directly, but I read all of yours with relish. I am following your whole ordeal, from being told you need the TCP/IP, the trip to Cincy, the visit with the " girls, " your " Angel Flight, " well, you get my point. > > I know how you must feel to not have the hospital return your calls at all. Lately, my own pcp told me that he longer felt comfortable prescribing the oxycontin in such large doses, and pushed me off to yet another new doctor. And for me that causes all types of anxiety with the fear of the unknown. I know what medications I need to feel a little bit normal, and now I'll have to go over all this with yet another new doctor. I tend to be rather pessimistic, so rather than think that this will be a good thing, with some new outlooks on my situation, I worry he'll not believe me, or refuse to write my prescriptions, or any other number of scary thoughts. I worry all the time about having enough medications, and often suffer, especially at night, because I don't ever want to run out of medication. I've had to go through withdrawal a couple of times, and don't want to ever have to go through that again. And my pcp only gave me enough medication through Friday, so if this doctor decides he doesn't want me on it, panic will set in for sure. And in my head, I know he wouldn't just send me home cold turkey, but somehow I still worry about what's going to happen. > > I'll be looking forward to your posts after you get to get in and see your doctor today.
