Did you say that you were admitted with a pancreatitis attack when they did

the procedure to remove the stent. I just want to know what I have to look

forward to.

Hi ,

Just a little update... I ended up being admitted to the hospital last

Wednesday the 17th. I started having pain that morning which one pain pill would

normally take care of. I ended up in severe pain and being admitted that

evening. To make the story even more interesting I was give Dilaudid and had a

severe reaction in the ER. Pretty scary. The doctor ended up taking me to

surgery

1st thing Thursday morning removing the stent. I was just D/c'd from the

hospital today. I feel terrible but good to be home. On pain meds, phenergan

and full liquid diet. I had to quit my part-time job (didn't qualify for LOA).

Now I have to take STD for the rest of the year from my full time job.

Perfect with Christmas. Oh well as my husband says it could be worse.
