My son needs to take probiotics for yeast overgrowth. He is taking 2

products from " New Beginnings "

Probiotic Support Formula

Other ingredients: Natural vegetable capsule

Culturelle with Lactobacillus GG

Inulin 245mg

Lactobacillus GG 30 billion cells

Casein less than .01mg

Whey less than .01mg

Vegetarian capsule 75mg

Are these ok on the SCD?

Thanks,

Maureen

This contains a number of bifidum bacteria species and so it is

illegal.

The inulin is illegal and Elaine recommended we stick to *only* L.

acidophilus in a bacterial probiotic supplement.

Sorry, but neither of these are legal. There are some legal

bacterial probiotics listed at

http://pecanbread.com/probiotics.html#brands

If you are looking for a legal S. boulardii supplement kirkman's

makes a plain legal one. There are others but you'd have to check

on the ingredients.

Some good info for fighting yeast at

" Yeast and SCD " at
