Put a call into the rheumy today about the swelling & breathing problems. He called back & said he would talk to my PCP tomorrow & call me back. I told him about the x-ray & the ER visit and no cat scan being done. I then told him I worked for a nephrologist (kidney dr) for 12 years & that I wondered if the added edema was causing my BP to elevate. I could tell that he wasn't listening anymore at this point. This is exactly what I talked to my PCP about on Weds. My PCP says he is very concerned about me but he doesn't seem to take a very aggresive stand like my other rheumy did. She was definitely in control of the situation. Ted says maybe it's time to find another rheumy.

I got a call from the Ophthalmologist office today & I am going to a retinal specialist for a flurosene angiogram for my eyes on Tues. This is in regards to my visit with the neurologist & his talk with the eye guy on Weds. Had double vision on Fri. on the way to the PCP. Saw 2 red lights on top of the other & also green lights did the same on 2 different traffic lights. Also going to the ophthalmologist on 3-15 for some special field vision tests. I can't believe how crappy my vision is. Of course the cataract doesn't help but my vision hasn't been good for months now.

Will keep you posted as to what's going on.
