Nasty Carafate

Jeanne--Hello sister! We didn't meet in Durham (at least I don't

think we did) but we are lightermates--I, too, had surgery on 7/20!

Glad to hear you're doing so well, me too!

Here's a tip to all of you who, like me, hate the Carafate--take it

COLD, as cold as you can get it without freezing--then you can hardly

taste it!

Thanks for the tip. I couldn't stand it, I had to taste it yesterday

to see what you all were talking about. It tastes like flavored pepto

bismol mixed with Milk of Magnesia. YUK!!!

I dont remember meeting you either but kewl that we

did now....I am taking it cold but Ill be glad when

its done.....how are you doing? Ive lost 24 pounds so

far...Im so excited...I just this week joined this

group thing...I didnt know it was here....

look forward to hearing from you...

Because (1) It's required by Dr. Rutledge after surgery; (2) It prevents

ulcers and helps the stomach and intestines heal after surgery.
