Guest guest
Jeanne--Hello sister! We didn't meet in Durham (at least I don't think we did) but we are lightermates--I, too, had surgery on 7/20! Glad to hear you're doing so well, me too! Here's a tip to all of you who, like me, hate the Carafate--take it COLD, as cold as you can get it without freezing--then you can hardly taste it! > I'm with you.I am only 11 days post op and I'm already > so sick of the carafate.I don't think it would be so bad > if it wasn't 4 times a day.Good luck! > > > (TX.) > MGB 8/2 > 13 lbs. gone for good(as of 8/8) > > I just signed on here but wanted to say that I started my new life on > > July 20, 2000. Guest guest
Because (1) It's required by Dr. Rutledge after surgery; (2) It prevents ulcers and helps the stomach and intestines heal after surgery.
