Guest guest
Heidi, I can agree with you wholeheartedly about what one radiologist sees and what another one doesn't. The tumours I had..radiologist at my small local hospital said there is nothing there..funny it was only a month after they were discovered during surgery... Yet down at MD , they found multiple ones that did relate to my surgery. My surgeon in Knoxville admitted to me that he would rather send me back to Houston just to have a CT scan done or to see a GI than send me to a radiologist or GI at UT Hospital...that is so sad considering it is a teaching hospital..makes one wonder what the future radiologists and GI's are going to be like when they become fully fledged doctors. This is from the son of the doctor who invented the TPN. He is an excellent surgeon, and said I would do whatever he said when he told me that about the radiologists there *L*.
