Based on my son, this is the case. His sinuses are a mess (or were

until surgery, daily nasal lavage and antibiotic therapy) but he

rarely complains of facial pain. When he does complain, I listen and

he gets Tylenol promptly. Once this winter a school he went to the

nurse (she was a substitute) and requested she call me because his

eyes hurt. She turned him down because a headache wasn't serious

enough to call. I was bullshit. She obviously didn't bother to look

up his medical history nor did the teacher enlighten her.
