Guest guest
Hey yall, I had shared with a few of you my problems with nausea and vomiting. I had been nauseous since the day of my surgery May 29, 2000. Well, I went to my PCP and got a Compazine shot and Rx for transdermal scopolamine. Well, they didn't really work all that well. I didn't tell Dr R until a couple of weeks ago because I thought it was no big deal. Well, it's a big deal and he put me on Climara...an estrogen patch. Now, I feel much better and I can eat a meal without vomiting. Today is my first day not being sick. So, pre-op women, your hormones may get a little thrown off after surgery, but it can be managed. I suffered needlessly for almost three months. What a masochist I am. Ho hum... le eleven weeks post op
