A small step towards a huge goal

Afternoon - once again I want to thank all of you for your emails,

your posting all the " tips and tricks " to this process. I've tried

to

keep up on reading all the emails, but I'm afraid I end up skipping

alot of those posted over the weekend. I've been keeping a journal

with all the various information you've shared.

I have received " approval " to have my preauthorization request looked

at BEFORE having to change to BCBS during open enrollment in October.

This is a huge relief. It took a bit of pushing to get this

accomplished, but definitely worth it. I suggest if you're faced with

the same dilemma, contact your employee benefits office and see if

they'll go to bat for you about obtaining approval before switching.

I finished submitted my on-line form to Dr. R about an hour ago - so

now I wait....

What happens from here? I've been working on my packet - is this the

next thing to get sent to him? I have some of my medical records,

and

a physical appointment the 28th.
