Guest guest Posted July 17, 2006 Report Share Posted July 17, 2006 For those of you who get meds compounded, do you take a list of legals and illegals to the compounding pharmacy, such as the illegal supplement additives list that I found? Or a longer list to cover things that might be in meds but uncommon in nutritional supplements? What do you say to the compounding pharmacist when you first get started talking to him about your needs? Also, do you ask more of him than your SCD requirements? (For example, I would like to avoid all coal tar dyes, where ever possible. In the past I've bought dye-free benedryl. But I have not worked much with a compounding pharmacist as of yet.)
