Guest guest
Hi , I have tumors on each foot also. I haven't been to the specialist yet but I am wondering what they are. One is larger than the other but they have grown a lot since Okieland. I asked my Rheumy if he thought this had something to do with RP, I even told him about yours, of course the man said no. But he never really listens. I wonder if anyone else has this problem? If you do please let us know I would be eager to find out if it could possibly be RP related? One of mine is getting painful when I walk to much. The other one hasn't gotten that bad yet. What are you doing about yours? Please take care, Love you Lu , that is a good question. I have fatty tumors in my feet and they are sooo very painful. I think someone else posted about having fatty tumors. I wonder if there is a connection with RP? Of course who would we ask. LOL (that would know)

LOL For some reason mine are a lot better than they were. But I have bought a really good pair of shoes and find that going barefoot makes them worse (oh and how I love to wear no shoes) boo hoo. The dr and I agreed that there is nothing I can do but have surgery to totally correct this problem. He feels that it might be caused from the pred. He doen't want to do the surgery and I don't want to have it until I can't walk at all. Mine are where all the nerves and muscles meet and he would have to take out some muscle and can't guarentee that there wouldn't be any nerve damage. could be I wouldn't have any use of my feet. He would only do one at a time and while on pred, he said recovery would be a good six months for each foot. SO..... that is why I'm just toughing it out and hopefully one day, they will just go away. LOL Think positive and it will happen. hugs
Guest guest
hi , I'm so glad yours are better. The doctor is not sure what mine are so I have to set up an apt. to go to another doctor to find out. The one on my left foot has gotten so much bigger when I hold up my foot you can see it. Looks like a ping pong ball popped outwards. The other foot it is more to the side instead of right on the bottom arch. Even wearing shoes is bothering the bad foot. I guess Monday I will schedule more doctor's apts. lol I have to be able to walk and stay up with all of you that are walking to our health.
