Guest guest
Joe, My daughter Jaelyn, 17 months, had a bronch done last month. She did really well with it. The doctor gave us copies of the pictures that he took. It was amazing how much mucas and stuff was in her lungs and she didn't even sound " junky. " The doctor was able to suck all the mucas out and Jaelyn has been doing great ever since. I was leery at first because I did not think that it was necessary but know I am glad that I did it. Plus it only too like 15 minutes. mom of Makenzie 6 w/o cf and Jaelyn 17 months wi cf Bronch Hi guys. As I mentioned the other day, Abby cultured more Pa last week. We'd just finished 3 weeks Cipro/Tobi. She's cultured it 3 times and it's been sesitive to different drugs every time which is making me think it's newly acquired each time. Obviously she has the perfect medium for it since I know she isn't exposed to it any more than anyone else. In fact probably much less since she's 10 mos. and we watch her like hawks in terms of what goes in her mouth etc. We rarely even take her anywhere. The team wants to do a bronchoscopy next week to see where and what they're dealing with. I like the idea of getting good info but am leery about the risk of introducing stuff where it isn't. Any similiar experiences, comments or general feedback is welcome. Thanks, Joe
