I know that the back of my driver's liscense is signed and witnessed so that I can donate my organs in the event of an accident, but being out of State for surgery, I don't know if that will be enough. I may not have a family member with me Friday to give the approval, either. Is there a form that you post-op's remember signing at the hospital? I know that I have done this before going into other surgeries, but that was years ago, and I can't remember the proceedure. Any information on this would be appreciated. Guest guest
Hi Rosemary, I'm glad to have you keeping up with me. I feel like I know you from reading your posts! You are the sweetest person. I'm not at all worried about dying. As a Christian, that's the least of my worries. I have lived my whole life to be able to go Home. My son knows that and he loves Jesus too, and will be fine if something happens to me. Actually, I'm more afraid of something happening on the trip up there than during surgery. I know that there is a lot more risk in that! What ever happens on the 11th, I'll be just fine. No fear here! I just figure that I can help someone else out if something happens to me. It's sure a waste not to donate organs with all of the medical advances. The legal end of that kind of thing is tricky, and if you are not prepared, your wishes may not be granted. I will take all of the prayers that I can get though!!! I want to be skinny when I go to heaven!!! Stormy > Stormy, > What in the world are you thinking! Don't EVEN go there!
