Guest guest
Bert, I have ambien and used to take it pretty regularly when traveling. I don't need to take it that often now that I'm not working because I usually don't have to worry about getting up early. Anyway, I had several times that I had taken ambien and had conversations on the phone with my family and had absolutely no memory of the conversation. One time I noticed a message on the phone the next morning. I assumed my husband had called and I had not heard the phone ringing because I was sleeping so soundly. I called him later in the day and apologized for missing his call. He told me I had called him back just after he left the message and we talked for about 10 minutes. I have no clue what I said in that conversation because I have no memory of it whatsoever! I have found it is best to take the ambien and go right to bed! Turn on the TV or get a book if you feel it may take a few minutes for you to fall asleep. I don't think it is safe to be out of bed after taking ambien. What if you decided to cook something and then forgot about it? It could really end up being dangerous. I will say that ambien is great and without it there is no way I could have survived all my business travel all over the world and back and forth to different time zones in the U.S. I could take ambien and fall asleep within 20 minutes and then wake the next morning feeling well rested with no druggy hangover.
