Guest guest
Hey everybody, Stormy reminded me that I had not given and update in a while. So, wanna hear it? Here is. I am ten weeks post op today. At eight weeks post op I had lost 40 pounds. I don't have any major problems, but I have moderate to severe nausea EVERYDAY. I am wearing a transdermal scopolamine patch: I have taken Compazine shots, and I take phenergan as needed. It feels like morning sickness. I vomit at least a couple of time a week. some times its from water. There seems to be no pattern. Dr R has suggested I use an estrogen patch, but I am going to tough it out a little longer. I don't want the side effects. So, basically, I am still on a soft diet because I can't seem to tolerate solids very well. My energy is still pretty high, as I exercise maniacally every day. I do aerobic for and hour and a half five days a week, abs everyday, and weight training alternating upper and lower body. I am not really flabby, but I still have a poochie lower abdomen. I started at a size 20/22. Currently I am a 16/18. I look NORMAL now. I have a very curvy figure and it's back after two years of hiding. I have skinny ankles and my collar bones are protruding. My face is heart shaped instead of round and pie shaped. I didn't have any medical problems before surgery. But, husband says I don't snore anymore. The loss is very noticeable and men are JOCKIN me big time. What animals! LOL They seem to lose their minds over a small waist and ghetto butt. I would have the surgery 100 times over despite this temperamental tummy. I am still on carafate and prevacid as well. So, that's it until the end of the month. le ten weeks post op...next weigh in is August 29 starting 272...232 at eight weeks beg waist 37...now 33 beg hip 55 ... now 53 I don't measure the other stuff
