Guest guest
Kristy came home from school yesterday complaining that her lungs hurt when she laughed, coughed etc. She is developing a mild cough, which I think she's holding back because it hurts. She has never had pain in her lungs before! There have been so many viruses etc going round school I think it's a miracle we've been lucky to date! Today after talking to her specialist, we've visited our local doctor and had chest xrays done....apparently they don't show anything 'raging' and the doctor commented on how well she did look. The xrays are being forwarded onto the specialist. The doctor suggested I give her panadol or panadeine (couldn't believe that one!) until her check up on Monday at the CF clinic and come back if she becomes very unwell. Have antibiotics on hand to start if the cough becomes more productive. Just interested to know if anyone else has children who experience 'painful lungs'?
