Guest guest
Just wanted to thank you for the advice and your personal stories. I will have more prednisone tomorrow (2x20mg) to take me up to the appointment with this Rheumy next Friday. The nurse did tell me on the phone that all my tests have come back negative, I suppose that's good news, although I wasn't aware there were any concrete tests for RP. Is there anything I should ask about tests for this appointment with the rheumy? Thanks, Pat
Guest guest
They can do a biopsy of area with activity- I know there's a better medical term. From what I've read, a clinical diagnosis generally made or a biopsy can be done. As for the pred, I was started at 100 mg @ day and after 2 yrs am down to 5mg. the amount has fluctuated, and the 2 doctors I've gone to address the onset of flares differently. Kathy C.
