Hi ,

I can sympathize with you. I have allergies around this time too. I take the generic Sudafed that Kaiser sells. Like Eleanor said we don't have any problems with anti-histamines as long as they don't have ibuprofen in them.

You definitely have my sympathies! I've had good

luck with loratadine, which is the generic form

of Claritin. Most of the antihistamines and

decongestants are fine for us. What you have to

watch out for is the NSAIDs (ibuprofen and

aspirin). Other than that, it's basically a

matter of seeing what works for you.

We use MSM (a supplement).

It takes a few days to start to work.

In a pinch for an acute issue (hives), I've given dye-free Benadryl.

Not actually SCD legal, but the least offensive thing I could find on

a store shelf. (No compounding pharmacies in my area.)

If there is a compounding pharmacy in your area, you should be able to

get any of those drugs you listed prepared in a way that will be

acceptable for SCD.
