Guest guest
Dear , I'm so, so, sorry that you have your beloved husband. I don't quite know how to say it, but I feel really bad that you lost your best friend and support system. I feel for you my friend, and I know there is nothing that Ican say that will set that right, but please know that you have my upmost understanding, and sympathy in your great loss. I missed you too . The time that I was away there wasn't a day that went by that I didn't think at least once a day about you all, and miss you all. It was a lonely time and not one that I want to repeat. it was especially lonely when I was in the hospital and couldn't contact y'all upon being discharged. I always get depressed when I get out of the hospital aas I have discussed with Kimber. She gets the same feeling. I guess it's the increased dosage of the narcotics that I take that has increased my memory lapses. I'm glad if it hasn't bothered your memory and I think that your doctor is your friend! :-) I'm sorry that you have had to undergo all of this surgery. That bile duct surgery sounds like a whopper! How long where you in the hospital recovering from that? I guess you don't have your gall bladder anymore. Do you have to be on crutches because of your knee surgeries? It sounds painful. Is this the orthoscopic type or something more invasive? The meditation group sounds positive. Do you feel that it's helping you with your chronic pain? I pray that you do find the right specialist for your disease. Well, I'm wiped out and headed upstairs for the night, but will write more soon! Always a pleasure to hear from you . God Bless. Guest guest
Hi Henry Thank you for the kind words. I was in the hospital 1 week with the bile duct surgery and then recuperated at home. My family doctor was amazed at how quick I bounced back. Unfortunately when you live alone you have to force yourself to get up and move, there is no way you can just lay there and tale it easy. Its probably better in the long run to do that. My younger son lives not to far from me and he is a wonderful help. He is 39 and has a wife and 2 kids. The knees were orthoscopic surgery just to clean them out , unfortunately I have severe oseoarthritis in both and the cartlidge is almost gone. The next surgery will be partial knee replacement which isnt as invasive as total replacement and has a shorter recovery time. I have always been very active and anything that slows me down I find hard. I dont know if the meditation is working yet I practice every day and I am told it takes time. Stress sure makes everything worse doesnt it? Wonderful to here from you. We are getting blasted with winter here today and yesterday 1 foot at least of snow. It looks beautiful from Canada
