Hi ,

I have been on Cytoxan since last August. I am on 150mg. a day, that is the max dose I can take for my size. My Rheumy told me it cannot be used for more than 2 years because it greatly increases your chances of developing Bladder Cancer or Leukemia.

Also, what dosage?The Mayo Clinic diagnoses (RP & WG)and treatment plan were made last March 29, and I was told I'd take Cytoxan for one year if I could tolerate it. It's working for me, but my local doctors said since it is working, this may be the long-term (as in years) medication for me. Yikes! Of course, I'm not going to quit taking anything until my next Mayo visit in late April. But do you know how long you'll be taking it?
