Guest guest
Is it green in color or the mustard yellow? If yellow, not green, that is normal, though the rash could be a slight yeast problem. Is she getting probiotics? It does pass from breast milk to baby if you are taking it, but maybe some in expressed milk if she will take a bottle will help with that. I would avoid the high allergen foods as well for preventive measures like peanuts and shellfish. If she has the green, foul stools there could be a food sensitivity there that you might have to address with an elimination diet. Eggs and cow's milk protein (which would include the SCD legal dairy) are problematic with many babies. I had to avoid them when I bfed my babies. Robbie kids scd since 6/04 Ugh! I think my daughter is having trouble, too! My 20 month-old NT daughter seems to be having digestive issues. She has been on SCD since she was 8 mos. old. My three-year-old has been on the diet for one year as well. He was the push to start the diet and I put my daughter on to avoid what my son went through and also because she was having terrible painful, sometimes bloody diaper rash that spread all down her thighs. The rash cleared up but for quite some time she has been having VERY loose stools up to 3X a day, and the occasional pimply rash on her bum. She is breastfed. I do SCD as well. I don't know what I should expect from her stoolwise since she is breastfed. Does this sound normal or should I maybe consider cutting out some of the more obvious potential problems (nuts, eggs, etc., etc.)? Her poops worry me, but apart from that she is developing right on track for a kid her age (she talks alot, interacts great with her brothers, imitates everything, does pretend play, etc., etc.). She is also a healthy height and weight, at least I think. She is about 33ish inches and 30 pds. Any thoughts? Thanks, molly
