Guest guest
Deb, Hello! How are you? I am so happy to see you are home from NC and you are loosing weight. You see..I told you..it's a piece of cake! Is Robin doing well too? When I get back to IL. to visit relatives i `m going to visit you gals. My family still lives in fort. I `m sorry I haven't been posting I went to Columbus, GA. to play for 4 days and I am no playing catch up. LoL One good thing is that the kids are back in school. I NOW HAVE A LIFE! WooHoo! Well, anyway keep me posted on how you are doing. I went to the DR's last week for my 2 month post op check up and I am down 34lbs. Not the greatest, but i `m getting there. I `m actually thrilled at any little bit of weight lost. My PCP did say that my blood showed that I need to drink more, so I have been doing that. Take care Best, Joanne
Guest guest
Hi Joanne, Robin and I are both doing wonderfully! I am so thankful to have found this site and Dr. Rutledge. I am a little concerned about being the first failure, but I know many other people have also had that concern, and they have been fine, so I will try not to think about that..lol. I have started eating some soft foods, and I feel like I could eat as much as I want. I am still only eating small amounts because I'm still a little nervous about getting a leak, but I feel like I could eat a whole bowl of oatmeal, instead of a few bites. I know that when the scar tissue forms, I will be able to feel the limits of my new stomach more. Right now, I feel like I haven't had anything done to me. I read that from other people, and had trouble believing it. It is amazing to me that I could have had all that stuff done inside of me, and never feel any pain from it. Dr. Rutledge is truly a blessing! I will think so even more when I am strutting around in my tiny little jeans...lol. Good luck to you and congratulations on your weight loss!
