Holly, I think the bottom line is your PCP needs to do whatever

he/she thinks is necessary to make sure you are surgery-ready. That

can INCLUDE those types of tests, but doesn't have to. The tests you

have to have within 30 days is an EKG, CBC and basic chemistry

profile.

Hope that helps, but I'm no authority either ;-)

Holly,

I think you only need (besides weight history) your physical, pap, mammogram,

EKG, and blood work (CBC and Chem 7). At least that is what I had, and I'm

approved for surgery tomorrow. Sherry

Holly,

My understanding is that you just need to have your DR. show proof that

you've had a physical within a year of your surgery date and a pap test.

Mammogram if your DR. thinks its necessary. Blood work and an EKG within 30

days of your surgery date. I think that's right, someone correct me if I'm

wrong. No echo unless your Dr. feels a need for it.

Do you have to take a copy of your pap and mammogram to the hospital

with you?
