Guest guest
Ms. Teng, Please email me off list. Helpfile@.... W'e've been scoped by dr. k. Scd is what helped. Scope was unproductive. Very big disappointment and waste of resources although we found stuff in the scope. If you want more info, please email me directly. Guest guest
Hi, My son who is now 4 years old has been on scd diet for over a year and still he had difficult with his gut prior to the scoping. I viewed the scoping procedure with Dr. Krigsman as a means to get more information about what is going on in his gut. The biopsy does show he has entercolitis and gastritas. Some parents I spoke to have said the medications Dr. Krigsman has used to treat the inflammation has not worked and some have said it worked for their child. It's always good to get as much information about what is going on with your child's body to help make the next decision. If you view the scoping procedure as the " cure " you may get disappointed if the treatment does not work. I was tired of my son's mainstream pediatrician (who was not a DAN doctor) telling me that my son's crying " is just autism and he does not have gut problems or have food sensitivities " . With the biopsy the pediatrician now has valid information that my son truly does have gut issues and is more willing to listen to our concern and not shrugg it off as " just autism " . The idea of scoping my 4 year old son frightened me and stress me out to the max. THe actual procedure and prep work prior to the procedure went smoothly. Good Luck in your decision. Guest guest
Thanks Marie your reply means a lot to me! at this point, I am convinced that my 3 kids (5 year old regressive autism boy 3 year old high functioning autism boy 20 months old NT girl) have GI issues I plan to see Dr.Krigsman just to have documentation for the world to leave us alone in peace to do SCD and raw foods diets so people do not think we are purposefully starving our kids and to have anyone who attempts to bother us to talk to Dr.Krigsman. I know SCD is the way to go for my kids if only cure is fast... sigh yesterday I broke my baby girls (NT, unvaccinated)' SCD diet by giving soup with rice at the restaurant...she cried/squirmed all nite Jzin > > > > Hello > > > > SCD is the number 1 intervention for both my ASD boys > > > > we have been on the wait list to see Dr.Krigsman to get > > scoped for my boys to find out why they need this diet to start > with > > > > has anyone done it? > > > > sometimes I feel like just putting my kids on SCD long term > > and forgo the allopathic invasive scoping and inevitable proffering > > of drugs > > my oldest low functioning son may need it > > my younger guy is high functioning, it's harder to justify > > > > anysimilar experience to share to ease my quandry? > > we have been hoping to use natural means eg SCD to CURE my kids > > problems > > not drugs to alleviate symptoms only > > but with my older son's severity, perhaps I need the big guns... > > would it cure his GI damage in the end...? > > > > Jzin > > California > > Dimiter, age 5, fully vax, regressive autism, SCD since Dec 2003 > > Vivi, age 3, vac 2 rounds, High func autism, SCD since June 2004 > > Elena, 20 months, gloriously unvax, talking very well, SCD, bow > > legged > > >
