Guest guest
Dinah, I brought all the prescriptions with me - it was easiest to have them filled at my usual pharmacy. Figured it would also be less hassle with insurance. We bought the drinks in NC. We didn't bring a blender. I didn't eat out, but would recommend soup (but just the liquid part) or juices. Remember not to drink more than 2-3 TBS at a time every 15-20 minutes, but stay hydrated. And, ENJOY knowing you're on the other side!! Bern > Some of you recent post ops. I bought a hand held mixer thing at the grocery store there. I went to the store there to get yogart and popsicles. Do not eat the night before surgery. Just have soup if you have to have anything. dr.R says if you eat the night before, it extends your intestines that he bypasses, and makes it look like 6 feet when, in fact, it will be only 3 feet! Guest guest
I am thinking shakes are going to have a lot of air and bubbles that you don't need. The citrucel goes well with orange juice since it has an orange flavor you don't even know that you are taking it. Just buy your stuff there before surgery and keep it in your room and mix the citrucel with a spoon. good luck what to take? Some of you recent post ops.
