Print out the ASBS paper for him! That's the greatest!

To print the patient manual, you have to download it and then print it

from Acrobat. Go to this page and it will take you to the download for

Acrobat, and then you download the patient manual and load it into

Acrobat, then print it from Acrobat:

I sent my doctor this page but he wants to know more about Dr. R's

background as a Dr. (when he went to school where he did his surgical

training...ect) He said that if he trained at Duke then he has all the

confidence in the world in him. He is aprehensive because he didn't refere

me to Dr. R. I did the research and I found him on my own. Ususally the Dr.s

he refere me to he knows them first hand. I guess he just wants to get to

know Dr. R since he will be having a close working relationship with each

other and who knows maybe this could be the start of a new referral process.

Hi, I also gave my PCP Dr. Rutledge's phone number and

told her to call and ask any questions she wanted to

about the surgery and follow up. That settled that

problem for me.

His profile is posted on the web site....

Good luck

My sister-in-law, who is a wound specialist at the VA Clinic in

Durham, N.C., said she bumped into , who use to head up

the pancreas studies at Duke Medical, and was talking to her about me

and my pancreas woes. She said I could very easily still have a

gallstone stuck in the pancreatic duct. Anyway I thought that was

interesting. Hopefully I'll get more answers at Duke on Monday. Tammy
