Farmer Cheese (also farmer's cheese or farmers cheese) is a simple cheese often used for fillings in blintzes and other foods. Farmer cheese is made by pressing most of the moisture from cottage cheese; pressed drier still, Carol F. Guest guest
Is Farmer's > cheese the same thing are dry curd cottage cheese? Hi , The knowledge base at www.breakingtheviciouscycle.info has this to say about farmers cheese: http://www.breakingtheviciouscycle.info/knowledge_base/kb/farmers_che ese.htm " There are two types of cheese called farmers cheese. One is like dry curd cottage cheese, and the other is similar in consistency to Brick or Monterey Jack. The Farmer's cheese that is similar to Brick or Monterey Jack, is not legal.
