Tonya,

As I told you when I was chatting with you via IM the other day, you can

have pain on the left side. I know I do at times, though most of mine is

in the middle. And you can have normal amylase and lipase levels with

chronic pancreatitis. I hope you eventually get the doctor you need,

which is probably a gastroenterologist with pancreatitis specialty. If

you ever want to talk you can either IM me when I'm online or email me

directly or through the group. I will be sending good wishes, prayers,

good vibes, and everything else your way that you soon get the help you

need. There is no reason for you to be in pain and have it not treated.

If the doctor doesn't treat it after you've told them about it, then

make a complaint to JCAHO http://www.jcaho.com/ . Hope to hear more

from you over time.
